Environmental Council

The TCU Environmental Council was formed in April of 2008 and the first meeting was held to discuss the scope of the Council.  Administrators, staff, faculty, and students comprise the members of the Council.  One of the main goals of the Council is to address issues related to the President's Climate Commitment (see  http://www.presidentsclimatecommitment.org/), which TCU signed in June of 2008.  The first meeting produced one recommendation, which was to propose hiring a sustainability coordinator.
